Dynetics has hired Nate Slate the new Director of Fires and Air and Missile Defense Development. As a member of the corporate development staff, he will manage projects that further expand the company's reach in the Lawton, Okla., area to include the Fires Center of Excellence.
Slate joined Dynetics after more than ten years of service to private industry in the areas of program management and business development. Prior to his private industry experience, Slate served in the United States Army. He commanded the 17thField Artillery Brigade at Fort Sill and deployed the brigade during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Nate's expertise in the fires and artillery sector will allow us to expand our reach and have a better connection between Redstone and Fort Sill," said Steve Cook, Dynetics senior vice president of corporate development.
Slate graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with his bachelor's degree in English. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and he holds two master's degrees in administration from Central Michigan University and national security and strategic studies from the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.
