Wednesday April 26, 2017

Dynetics has been awarded a contract for the Combat Environment Instrumentation Systems (CEIS) by the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD).

Dynetics was named with five other companies under a Multiple Award Contract to compete and propose on subsequent orders for NAWCWD. The orders are for the research, development, delivery, sustainment, and upgrade of instrumentation for the service branch.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers several CEIS equipment such as electronic attack/active emitter pods, electro-optical tracking platforms, countermeasure systems, unmanned aerial vehicle instrumentation tools, GPS-based time-space-position-data instrumentation and multispectral target systems that DoD and allies use at test and training ranges.

"We are pleased to be selected to support NAWCWD. This contract will allow Dynetics to bring our expertise in instrumentation, electronic warfare, electronic attack, and threat target systems to the Naval Air Warfare Center's premier test and training ranges. We look forward to supporting the Navy," said Mike Moody, Dynetics vice president of product development and manufacturing.

The contract expands Dynetics footprint in California. The company will be expanding and relocating to a larger office in Ridgecrest, Calif. in the summer of 2017 to support the CEIS contract.
