Dynetics will sponsor the 2015 Southeastern Electric Exchange Annual Conference & Tradeshow in Hershey, Pa., June 24-26. The Southeastern Electric Exchange is a non-profit, non-political trade association of investor-owned electric utility companies.
At the conference Dynetics will feature GroundAware, a reconfigurable radar-based surveillance system. The Dynetics GroundAware radar was developed to provide utility companies and other critical infrastructure security stakeholders with real-time information needed to instantaneously respond to intrusions before they threaten restricted areas.
"We are pleased to support this conference that provides valuable information to utility companies," said Jonathan Whitcomb, Dynetics vice president of Enterprise Solutions. "Our GroundAware customers include utility companies that understand the importance of detecting a threat before it becomes a problem."
Mike Stokes, GroundAware product manager, said "GroundAware provides utilities with what they need to meet the NERC CIP 14 physical security standard for critical infrastructure plus many additional features that benefit their security operations."
