Dynetics is a secure facility. Visitors should arrange an appointment with a Dynetics employee prior to visiting. There are no public tours of the facilities.
The following guidelines are provided to make your visit to Dynetics both productive and pleasant. We also want to ensure we provide a safe and secure environment for you and your information as well as for our people, property, and information. Please assist us in this effort by complying with our security requirements.

NOTICE: To prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Dynetics is taking precautionary steps to protect our employees and other visitors from exposure to SARS-CoV-2 virus, which leads to the Coronavirus.
Please be prepared to answer the following questions upon your arrival at one of our facilities until further notice.
- Have you returned from any countries currently listed on the CDC website https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices within the last 14 days?
- Have you had close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days?
- Have you been in close contact with anyone who has traveled within the last 14 days to one of the countries currently listed on the CDC website https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices?
- Have you experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days (to include fever, cough, sore throat, respiratory illness, difficulty breathing)?
NOTE: If the answer is "yes" to any of the questions, access to the facility will be not be granted.
If you’re planning to be onsite at a Dynetics facility for consecutive days, please immediately advise your Dynetics host and inform the front desk if any of your responses to these questions change.
Dynetics will deny entry to anyone visiting our facilities who has traveled to one of the CDC Level 3 areas within the past 14 days.
Visitor parking is available at the Dynetics facilities. You should park only in a clearly designated parking area. There is no overnight parking authorized without prior approval from the Dynetics Corporate Security and Export Compliance Office.
Clearance / Visit Request
Prior to arrival, your clearance/visit request must be on file with Visitor Control staff for collateral visits and the Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) for visits involving sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
NOTE: Before individuals transmit personally identifiable information (PII) or other sensitive data to Dynetics, it is recommended that they apply appropriate physical, administrative, and technical protocols to safeguard their privacy. Once Dynetics receives PII or sensitive personal data, we secure it from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
For collateral-level visits, please send requests via encrypted email to firstname.lastname@example.org or via the preferred method: via JPAS, the requesting FSO (or security representative) may send a visit request using the SMO Code: 7L8556 and include the Dynetics POC’s name.
For SCI-level visits, please fax your clearance/visit request to the CSSO at 256-964-4192 (secure) or 256- 705-2323 (unclassified). You may also send your SCI visit requests as follows:

The requesting Special Security Officer (SSO), CSSO, or FSO may send a visit request using the SMO code 7L8552 and include Dynetics POC’s name.Via JWICS

All visitors entering this facility will be subject to the Dynetics search policy. Your cooperation with these antiterrorism measures is appreciated.
When you check in at the front desk, you will be asked a series of questions related to your visit and equipment in your possession. You will be required to show government-issued picture identification.
Normally, this will be a state-issued driver’s license for U.S. citizens and a passport for foreign nationals. If you are presenting a driver’s license from a state that is not in compliance under Department of Homeland Security guidelines, a secondary form of photo ID will be required. Dynetics Visitor Control personnel will inventory your equipment and provide you with a property pass for any equipment approved to accompany you during your visit and to use within and when exiting Dynetics. This pass verifies ownership and authority to possess the equipment while in the facility and to take it with you when leaving. Various signs are posted at the building entrances advising you of security requirements. If your visit will take place over several days, you must register each day with the Visitor Control staff.
Upon completion of your visit registration, your Dynetics POC will be contacted to verify your visit time and location. If you have arrived early, the POC may ask you to wait in the lobby until the scheduled visit time. If you have not made prior arrangements with your Dynetics POC, the visit may be denied. If the visit is approved, you will be issued a Dynetics visitor badge.
All approved visitors to Dynetics are escorted throughout the facility by an authorized member of the Dynetics staff. If you wish to visit multiple people within Dynetics, you must register each visit with Visitor Control, which will verify the acceptance of the visit with each Dynetics POC.
If you are not a U.S. citizen, a completed Dynetics Foreign Visitor Request Form must be provided to firstname.lastname@example.org via encrypted email [or fax to (256) 705-2323] or to your Dynetics POC. Please remember to bring your passport. If you are a U.S. permanent resident, please remember to bring your permanent residency card. If you are a U.S. citizen but represent a foreign Government in an official capacity, please notify Visitor Control and your Dynetics POC before your arrival.
Weapons and Other Prohibited Items
Items that can be used as weapons are strictly prohibited from being brought into Dynetics facilities. There are also other prohibited items.
Examples of Prohibited Items:
- Explosives or ammunition
- Weapon replicas
- Recreational equipment (bow and arrows, throwing stars, etc.)
- Knives with blades over 4 in.
- Clubs, nunchucks, or other martial arts devices
- Drugs/drug paraphernalia
- Hazardous liquids
- Other items deemed a threat to employees or visitors
- Unauthorized classified material
- Unauthorized photos (pornographic material or any other photos someone may find offensive)
Any questions should be submitted to your Dynetics POC prior to your arrival.
Devices that have the ability to capture images (e.g., cameras and camera phones) or sound (e.g., tape and digital recorders) are allowed at Dynetics facilities. However, photography and video recording are prohibited anywhere in the Dynetics facility unless approved by the Dynetics Corporate Security and Export Compliance Office. If a business necessity exists, such as using these devices as part of a business presentation, prior arrangements must be made with the Dynetics POC, who will coordinate with the Corporate Security and Export Compliance Office.
Dynetics provides a public "guest" network that may be used by visitors. Laptops that have been approved for entry may be attached to the Dynetics Public "Guest" Network. Users of this network are responsible for their own security. The connection information will be provided by your Dynetics POC.
Laptops and iPads may be brought into Dynetics facilities once the visitor completes a Visitor Personal Computer Network Access and Monitoring Agreement form.
NOTE: All wireless devices (regardless of on/off state) are prohibited from secure areas.
To expedite your visit, we recommend bringing your presentation on removable media. If a Dynetics loaner laptop (unclassified or classified) is needed to support your visit, please notify your Dynetics POC 48 hours prior to your visit.
High Security Areas and Classified Meetings and Discussions
All cell phones and personal electronic devices (PEDs) are prohibited in classified meetings, classified labs, and high security areas such as sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIFs) and special access program facilities (SAP-Fs). Advise the Visitor Control staff if you will be discussing classified information.
Smoking / Tobacco Use
Dynetics allows smoking and tobacco use in designated areas. Please see your Dynetics POC for locations.
