Aviation and Missile Solutions, LLC (AMS), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc. Founded in 1999, AMS provides the U.S. defense and intelligence agencies an open portal to innovative precision technology solutions, delivered on time and within budget. AMS has supported various Government customers to include the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM); Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC); and the U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center (USAASC). Cindy Griner is AMS president.


DTS Corporate Logo

Headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc., (DTS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc., formed in 2010. DTS has an independent board of directors and autonomous management, as well as operational and support staff with an emphasis on providing high-quality engineering and technology services and solutions to customers. Steve Cook is DTS president.

Specialty Machined Parts Manufacturing

Our in-house machining center offers the equipment and expertise for precision machining and fabrication. The robust combination of highly skilled personnel, state-of-the-art machinery, and high-end software provides the ability to rapidly develop hardware for research and development (R&D) prototyping and limited production. Our services for aerospace, defense, automotive, medical, and other industries include the following:

  • Computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM)
  • 5-axis high-speed computerized numerical control (CNC) machining
  • 3- and 4-axis CNC machining
  • Manual mill and lathe operations
  • Sheet metal fabrication
  • Metal inert gas (MIG) and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding
  • Assembly and test support
  • Quality control analysis
  • Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and portable FARO arm verification
  • Estimating, planning, and scheduling

The machining center utilizes ISO-compliant management information systems to track, in real time, all aspects of a project from planning through material ordering, production, in-process inspection, final inspection, packaging, and shipping. Additionally, it is fully capable of operations in a Department of Defense (DoD) classified environment.

Observation Without Limits (O.W.L.) is a commercially focused company formed by Dynetics to serve the critical infrastructure security market. The company is the provider for GroundAware®, the signature ground surveillance sensor system. GroundAware defines the enriched awareness for customers who operate in a world of ever-present threats. O.W.L. focuses on innovating technology solutions that enhance the security, safety, and efficiency of customers’ critical sites. O.W.L. is located in Huntsville, Alabama. Mike Stokes is the O.W.L. president.

O.W.L. is a joint venture between Dynetics and the Alabama Power Company.


nouDyne Logo

nouDyne, an unpopulated woman-owned small business joint venture, is proud to combine the expertise and experiences of two stellar companies, nou Systems and Dynetics, to support test range modernization. nou Systems has extensive range radar, optics, and telemetry software development experience and Dynetics is known for its radar analysis and hardware development expertise. When combined, nouDyne will offer an affordable, incremental, and scalable solution for making range modernization efficient and cost effective.

The focus is on the design and development of sensors and systems using Open System Architectures that are flexible, scalable, modular, and reusable and can be deployed to a variety of ranges for a wide range of applications.

nouDyne was formed under the U.S. Small Business Administration's All Small Mentor-Protégé Program. They are able to seek contracts that are set-aside for small businesses and women-owned small businesses.

Our Huntsville, Alabama, facilities are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100D for design, manufacture, production, testing, research, and development of Government systems and projects; commercial electronic diagnostic equipment; and space systems, test stands, and ground support equipment, as required by contract:

In addition, our Computer Applications Department has been appraised to CMMI DEV Maturity Level III for software development projects that deliver high-quality products to external customers.
