Modeling & Simulation

Modeling and Simulation (M&S) is a discipline for developing an advanced level of understanding of the interaction of the parts of a system, and of a system as a whole. Dynetics is an industry leader in this area with robust experience in the development of simulations and correlating models of missile systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, communications systems, radar systems, IR systems, acoustics, terrain data, atmospherics, and biological events.

Dynetics’ experience goes beyond merely developing models and simulations for others. In many cases, Dynetics is set apart because we are the end users of the models and simulations we develop. We have developed the Integrated Collaborative Engineering Entity Environment (ICE3), which is a modeling and simulation framework. This C++-based framework allows M&S professionals to easily develop and integrate their models, and supports Linux, Windows, Sun, and Silicon Graphics systems. Models developed using ICE3 can be added to distributed simulations using the High-Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulations (DIS) modules. In addition to the ICE3 framework, we have expertise with many other paradigms including Threat Modeling and Analysis Program (TMAP), and Common Simulation Framework (CSF).
