Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance
Persistent intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) is an emergent mission due to the critical need to
counter increasingly stealthy threats more effectively and within a compressed timeline. ISR sensors currently make use of diverse
modalities including EO/IR and SAR imaging for non-radiating threats and signals intelligence (SIGINT) sensors for use against active emitters.
For the case of SIGINT sensors, one problem is the increasing complexity of radar threats and the need for robust reference data with which to
identify and respond to modern threat systems. Regardless of sensor modality, the advent of more sophisticated threats is forcing a change in the
way ISR information is processed, analyzed, and disseminated. Dynetics has extensive experience in the evolution of threat systems including targets
that utilize stealth technology and otherwise use Camouflage, Concealment, and Deception (CC&D) techniques. With regard to SIGINT data, Dynetics
specializes in comprehensive processing, analysis, and dissemination of parametric data related to both threat emitters and sensors. Dynetics uses
multi-domain ISR expertise to foster successful technologies and tactics for US military and intelligence operations.
Dynetics has developed various innovative techniques to handle the high volume of data required for modern radar systems analysis.
We provide advanced electronic intelligence analysis, as well as unique methods to analyze and visualize data required to understand the signals and the
radar systems using these signals. Furthermore, Dynetics is on the forefront of modern radar parametric characterization as we have helped facilitate
the development and deployment of the Next Generation EWIRDB System (NGES). We have also developed novel tools to visualize antenna patterns, radar scans,
and signal information.
At Dynetics, our extensive understanding of radar and surface-to-air missile systems guides our innovative approach to SIGINT analysis
and NGES support. Our vast knowledge of signals, threat systems, and users’ data requirements allows us to provide 1) high-quality solutions for
intelligence information management and 2) unsurpassed support in ISR processes. We are committed to supplying our vital expertise to customers, ranging
from the scientific and technical intelligence community to the operational user of intelligence information.
Dynetics has supported various ISR sensors as used on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) ranging from the POP-300 used by SHADOW and miniaturized
payloads as used on the RAVEN UAS. Increasingly the platforms must not only support their traditional ISR roles but become integral to novel weapons systems concepts.
Dynetics has addressed not only sensor performance issues but network protocols which are necessary to ensure that targeting information is transmitted in timely
and effective ways. Effective use of UAS sensors for ISR and target acquisition requires appropriate man-machine interfaces on the ground. Dynetics has helped
extend the state-of-the-art for image processing that optimizes the image display used by operators to find and engage targets.
Dynetics is committed to processing, analyzing, and disseminating ISR data that revolutionize defense operations in the US military.
