Laser Signature Development

Dynetics has developed laser signatures for a variety of ground, airborne, and space systems. For ground systems, the developed signatures are associated with scene generation of obscured targets in order to support target detection and classification studies under controlled scene environmental conditions. For the airborne and space systems, the developed signatures are utilized to support target detection and tracking analyses.

Laser Signature Prediction Tools/Applications:

The primary tool used to conduct these analyses is the Irma model developed by the Air Force Research Laboratory at Eglin Air Force Base. Over the years, Dynetics personnel have made significant contributions as both developers and users of the Irma code.
