Dynetics: Fort Walton
Beach
The Fort Walton Beach office was
founded in 1980 with its initial basis of operation concentrated
solely in systems analysis and engineering support to the AMRAAM
Program. During an 18-year period, the office supported the program
during the initial validation phase under the AFRL's purview
and throughout all later phases to include FSD, RDT&E, Production
and P3I phases under the direction of the AMRAAM JSPO. In 1992,
Dynetics was awarded a five-year Electronic Combat (EC) Test Improvement
Contract to provide upgrades and modernization of EC test facilities.
In 1994, Dynetics was nominated by our Eglin customer and later
selected as the SBA's
Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year.
Today, as the Technology
Evaluation and Transition Department, the Fort Walton Beach office
is focused on conducting and transitioning government-funded
research and development tools into the acquisition and test/training
markets to include specialized hardware, software, and studies/analyses.
Under the current CIMTIC II contract, Dynetics supports the 46TW
at Eglin Air Force Base in development and modernization of test
facilities and infrastructure required for test and training and
evaluation of C4I and munitions systems. In addition, the department
has extensive capabilities in the areas of multi-sensor signature
generation and projection, IR and RF scene projectors and generators,
modeling and simulation, active and passive polarimetry, tactical
Air Force sensor technology, and special operations surveillance
equipment. These capabilities have been applied in satisfying the
requirements of a number of customers including the Air Force Research
Laboratory, Air Armament Center, Navy Coastal Systems Station,
MSIC, OSD, DARPA, NASA, RTTC, and commercial entities.
