Dynetics: Washington, DC

Dynetics' Strategic Programs Division, located in Arlington, Virginia, has supported National Capital Region (NCR) Department of Defense (DoD) customers with exceptional congressional affairs, strategic planning, systems acquisition and program management services since its inception in 1998. The division has grown steadily from a one-person office to a very successful government technical services provider with over 50 employees. The division also provides it's technical services to customers located in Ft. Belvoir, Va., Ft. Meade, Md. and Suffolk, Va.

The division's capabilities are focused on providing very experienced professionals to augment military headquarters staffs in six areas: congressional affairs, acquisition program support, science and technology, strategic planning and communications, information technology (IT) and software development, and test and experimentation.

The U.S. Army is our primary customer, but we also provide technical services to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and Joint Forces Command. Within the Headquarters (HQ), Department of the Army, our professionals provide key staff support to the ASA FM, OCLL, G8 and ASA ALT (in both acquisition and science and technology). Approximately half of our employees provide dedicated congressional, strategic planning, acquisition program and science and technology services to the HQ. The MDA is our next largest customer with over 10 employees doing congressional affairs and public affairs work under a prime contract, and systems engineering and program management efforts under subcontracts. The remainder of our work supports Engineering Research and Development Center, PEO Missiles and Space, PEO Simulation, Training and Instrumentation, PM Close Combat Weapon System, Space and Missile Defense Command, PM Counter Rockets, Artillery and Mortars and HQ, Fort Bliss with congressional affairs, program acquisition and management and strategic planning support; Research, Development and Engineering Command with strategic planning expertise; Joint Combat Development and Experimentation Offices with Modeling and Simulation expertise.

More than two thirds of the division's employees work on-site at customer locations in the NCR. Our work force is senior and experienced, with two thirds having over 20 years of experience and one quarter having over 30 years. Many have had numerous years of experience working in or around the Pentagon and Capitol Hill, including retired military and government service employees with multiple Pentagon or NCR assignments. Our employees are well educated, with most having at least a Bachelors degree and over half have Masters Degrees.

The division's office location in Crystal City is well suited to the Pentagon and NCR customers. Located at the north end of Crystal City in Crystal Gateway 1, the division office is convenient to metro, government bus route, Reagan National airport, and the Pentagon. The office suite is a Top Secret cleared facility with Secret storage. We have a large main conference room with VTC capability and capacity for 35 people. There are three smaller conference rooms, each with capacity for 15-20 people, and one with additional VTC capability. Our customers frequently use these excellent facilities, and find they are a step above our competitors. The division has high-speed color and copier capability on-site as well as web development capabilities. Our work requires frequent use of consultants to provide science and technology assessments. We have agreements with over 15 consultants that have current/former ties to key industries, DARPA, Defense Science Boards and Army Science Boards. Additionally, we have niche subcontractors in the areas of high-energy lasers, web-enabled databases and business process re-engineering that we frequently use, in many cases at the customer's request.

Dynetics' Strategic Programs Division has excellent, experienced professionals that can provide outstanding technical services to support customers' requirements in the NCR.
