Quality Programs: ISO 9001:2000 Certified

Dynetics is third-party certified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard. ISO 9001 reflects a quality management system that strives to implement a continual improvement philosophy. Our current compliance certification reflects Dynetics’ demonstrated excellence in five quality system areas corresponding to the implemental clauses of the ISO 9001:2000 standard. These clauses include management systems and processes, management responsibility, product realization, resource management, and measurement-analysis-improvement. These processes, emphasizing management involvement, customer satisfaction, and process analysis, enable Dynetics to provide better service to government and automotive clients worldwide.

We achieve continual improvement by tracking and analyzing of quality objectives. We address the needs of our external and internal customers through customer surveys. We ensure the efficient use of personnel and material resources by deployment of online project plans and our online commercial production inventory, tracking, and control system.

The scope of our certification is defined as hardware, software, and hardware / software deliverables pertaining to the “design, manufacture, research, and development of commercial electronic diagnostic equipment and design, research and development of government weapons systems.” Dynetics has been ISO 900 - certified for key departments serving both government and automotive industry customers since December 1998.

ISO is an internationally recognized, formal quality standard which is administered by the International Organization for Standardization. This worldwide federation of national standards bodies represents over 95 member nations as well as ISO liaison governmental and non-governmental international agencies. These groups establish and periodically review requirements which will ensure enhancement of customer satisfaction and provide guidance for performance improvement. ISO 9001 is the certification category designated for companies involved in design and development, manufacturing, and servicing related activities.

"Continual improvement is a core belief of Dynetics. Instituting quality programs is one component to ensure we deliver the best solutions for our customers.”
Mike DeMaioribus, Director of Quality Systems, Senior Vice President
